Better Jobs Better Care is a 4-year $15.5 million research and demonstration program, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and The Atlantic Philanthropies.

The program seeks to achieve changes in long-term care policy and practice that help to reduce high vacancy and turnover rates among direct care staff across the spectrum of long-term care settings and contribute to improved workforce quality

New Resources Translate Workforce Research and Lessons Learned for Long-Term Care Providers

Four new Better Jobs Better Care (BJBC) resources capture the program's four years of research findings and lessons learned to help long-term care providers reduce direct care worker turnover and find ways to recruit and retain high-quality talent.

New BJBC Web Site Coming

A new BJBC Web site is under development and will be launched in early 2009. The new site will include individual profiles and summaries of the eight research and five demonstration projects.
